Madeline Kirby is an award-winning harpist based in Worcestershire and the Cotswolds, enjoying a vibrant and varied career as both a performer and teacher. Known for her expressive playing and musical versatility, she maintains a busy schedule performing in concert as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral harpist and for weddings and events.

Madeline’s passion for music began early, and by the end of school she had achieved three ABRSM Grade 8 Distinctions in Harp, Piano, and Singing. She went on to study Music and Modern Languages at the University of Birmingham, where she deepened her understanding of performance, interpretation, and musical collaboration.

Since graduating, Madeline has established herself as a sought-after performer across the Cotswolds and Midlands and throughout the UK. Her performance career has included collaborations with a variety of ensembles and orchestras both in the UK and abroad, such as The International Film Orchestra and the BBC Proms Youth Chorus. She also performs as part of Favola, a professional flute and harp duo celebrated for its elegant and intimate concert programmes.

In addition to her concert career, Madeline is in high demand for weddings, private events, and corporate functions, where her harp music creates a unique and sophisticated atmosphere. Alongside her performing work, she is a dedicated teacher of harp, piano, and singing, holding a teaching position at Bromsgrove School, as well as offering private tuition in person and online.
